Notorious cinematic con job by Allan Shackleton. He took a rough, unreleased Manson-inspired horror by Michael and Roberta Findlay entitled THE SLAUGHTER and shot a "faux-snuff" ending to tack on as a coda. This scene is ridiculously unconvincing yet packed 'em in at the theatres and seems to have actually convinced some viewers of its actuality despite how phony it is. I found the Findlay's portion of the film much more interesting even though it's *really* rough. Not for everyone, that's for sure. If you're the type to appreciate this sort of thing then you've probably already seen it.
