loes the effect, little like matrix, made me jump

Great movie, especially since it was in 3-D. It would have been better if there was more zombie action, true to the Resident Evil form.

made me jump a few times and I don't jump at any movie really good 3d effects

overall a good movie, but i don't like the shaky plot which in turn creates more seques than the original title intends.

I love zombie movies! But this isn't really a zombie movie...it's a video game movie, with zombie's in it. So don't go expecting a typical zombie theme. Also, be sure to watch Resident evil 1 - 3 prior to watching this one...or you will be lost. lol Regardless of expecting a zombie movie and not having seen the previous movies, I did enjoy it. It had some 'borrowed' cliche's which I could have done without, but it also had new ideas that I thought were awesome. So, it's not Oscar worthy by any means...but it is entertaining!

one of the best resident evils by far

Great to see the 5th installment of Resident Evil. There were elements which reminded me about the game...the plane only in the game the giant mutant zombie you have to kill is on the plane and in the movie they have it in the bathroom scene. Heavy on the 3D and "Matrix-like" special effects. Too bad they left the plot a little weak. Too many gaps in this one to say I really enjoyed it. Mila looks just as smokin' as ever though!

OK! But really not a patch on the prequals. The 3d was good though...

Usually a fourth movie in a series gets a little tired but not with Resident Evil. We enjoyed it from start to finish. The zombie's evolution and Alice's return to human put a new fear to the movie. My mother in law, who had never even heard of the Resident Evil movies enjoyed it and was able to follow the plot as a movie by itself.

Way better than the last one. Not as good as the first two but the director used the 3d to it's full potential. Seemed a bit too matrix-like with all the slow motion dodging bullets and stuff. Worth watching in the theatre not worth renting
