I thought Poseidon was amazing. I saw the original movie and with the special effects in this new one, I thought they did a great job with the wave coming over the ship. I really enjoyed it. Thumbs up.

I thought the movie was aswsome. It didn`t take hours to get to the point, the crises started from the begining and got me really inot it, i dont know why people hate it, and it was really well done. Can`t wait for the DVD!!!

I feel that the movie was poor. Perhaps I am bias because I like the original, but i felt the performances lacked something that the original actors had. I do not like when Hollywood remakes films (especially good ones). It seem as if they are just trying to cash in on a famous name.

I seen the original Poseidon when I was a kid. I really cared about the characters and rooted for them to survive. In the remake I didn`t know much about the characters so I didn`t care as much who survived. During the movie I kept guessing who would die next and how. The special effects were good though.
