Good film.Well worth the time and money.Only suffers from a bout of religious symbolism that detracts fron an entertaining plot.More romance than war,but a strong four stars for me,losing the 5th star to the "cross scene" near the end.Should be seen by all Canadians.

This movie..although there are a couple of scenes with nudity. It is very realistic of what it would have been like. It has just enough fighting for the guys and love for the girls.

I was really hoping for a blockbuster film on Canada's role in the Passchendaele offensive and yes, I was expecting a love story in the film but I was sorely disappointed with this movie. If you're looking for a sappy love story then this is it. If you're looking for a good war film then save your money because this one falls flat. In no way does it even come close to Saving Private Ryan.

Wrenching. Beautifully filmed and told. Must-watch for all Canadians.

Very emotional. Makes you glad we don't have to fight like that. Thank you soldiers!

Paul Gross has done an excellent job of bringing his family's history, and our country's, to the big screen. Visually magnificent. Heart-warming and heart-wrenching. Romance, Drama, and Action all rolled into one movie.

This was the best movie ticket I've bought in years. A MUST SEE for ALL. Brilliantly done.
