4 stars - but long and drawn out. This is a drama, and documentary - not a triller. Not that I mind long movies - I actually prefer them as there is a stronger impression. This movie was true to point and very well done - but very depressing. It portays the middle east as a madhouse of hatred vs hatred and how that creates a vicious circle of ever escalating violence.

Disappointing for a Steven Spielberg film. Depressing and hopeless portrayal of humanity. Definitely not a feel good movie!

The movie is depressing, bottom line. The movie is all about senseless killing and more than that, the egotistical and arrogant actions of government. The movie was well-crafted (as you would expect from Spielberg) and the acting was first-rate, but that doesn`t dismiss the fact the movie was not entertaining, rather sad and hopeless. In light of Rwanda, Croatia, Irag etc...this movie only came across as another glorified reminder of man`s hatred towards anything he can`t understand.

It`s a shame and a true insult to those 11 dead Isareli athletes. Steven Spielberg should be fried!!!
