Monsters Inc. is a Pixar movie that almost everybody loves. It had great characters, very funny moments, and a heartfelt story. So, when I heard that the prequel was coming out, I was excited but very scared. Cars 2 was crap and Brave was awful. Well, I'm happy to say that Pixar is back, and Monsters University is fantastic! THE GOOD: Beautiful animation, great references to the first movie, great voice acting, hilarious jokes, loveable characters, great pace, excellent soundtrack, unexpected ending. THE BAD: Some jokes fell flat, but that's okay, they were for younger kids. THE UGLY: none. OVERALL: A great prequel to a fantastic movie. See it if you liked Monsters Inc and like t

this was a great laugh out loud movie and it is definitely a family movie. not just for kids, it is very enjoyable for adults too. the monsters go to university to learn to become monsters . it is a prequel to monsters inc.

The prequel to MONSTERS, INC. has to be one of Pixar's most inspiring stories ever told! I mean we got Billy Crystal (Mike), John Goodman (Sulley), and Steve Buscemi (Randall) reprising their roles, colorful animation, awesome new characters (some of which are amazingly voiced by Alfred Molina and Helen Mirren), some teen and college age humor, and surprise cameos of Roz, the Child Detection Agency, the Abominable Snowman, and a picture of Mr. Waternoose with some funky head and facial hair. But, other than that, the reason I say it's "one of Pixar's most inspiring stories" is because the moral of the story is to follow your dreams no matter what other people say.
