I finally got a chance to watch this documentary after emailing everyone I could think of online to see who had the DVD version since the website showed it was still unavailable. Wanted to find out what the big deal was myself as an Asian American. Okay, I see why it has had such a huge impact on its viewers and I'm not Canadian not that this matters. Here there are a handful of similar or "copycat" films that have been made in the United States that seem to have borrowed the theme of this original so I guess that should tell you something about its impact and reach. I haven't come across any other works from the filmmakers so far, but would be interested to find out. If there is more I hope they will do a better job of releasing it to the general public.
Finally saw it. 5-stars!!!!!
fine work
Highly recommended. A "feature length" so be prepared for the evening out. Is the soundtrack available? Congratulations to the producers. Enjoyed it very much.
Saw the screening with a friend! Pretty awesome.
Great film by a great man.
Amazing!
I love this show! I would like to have seen it expanded to more episodes. That's alot of history to cram into one film
