excellent movie, full of action and adventure, i didn't see the 3D version but it was still great, good clean fun.

Why did they wait this long to redo 3d? I've seen this twice already (once with my 7 year old who loved it). Great fun-a bit silly in a few spots but who cares? The technology is very effective with a realistic feel to it. How about Gladiator, Troy, Jaws etc in 3d?

I just took my daycare children to watch the movie in 3D. I was on the edge of my seat most of the time. My kids were totally into it and we all enjoyed every second of it. The effects were incredible and we felt like we were part of the movie. Fantastic!

Brendan Fraser is the worst actor of all time. It's like I was watching The Mummy, Encino Man and all of his other movies at once because it's the same character in every movie! C'mon man, be diverse!!! (Feels good in my brain)

Great adventure movie for older kids. We saw the non-3D version and it was still a "thriller" for my 9 year old daughter, although we'll probably drive across town to see the 3D version. Wouldn't take younger kids to see it though, especially in 3D as it would be "scarier". Very cute though... good summer fun for older kids.
