A moving film. The kind of bond that one can form with an animal was shown very well by viggo mortenson (forgive my spelling?. The landscape was incredible and the story inspiring. It may perhaps be a little glorifying, but with a story like that i think they can get a way with it to some extent. -jenn v-

A little slow at the beginning but I really enjoyed it. Definetelly worth the money. I wouldnt see it again because i think the second time would ruin it. I hate all long movies but i was a ble to sit throught this movie begining to end without falling asleep because of my gold fish-like attention span. Loved it!

Two hours plus about a man and his horse. About all I can say about this story is that it makes a lot of horse-scents and Hidalgo`s sure to be nominated for best horse in a supporting role. Overall it`s a big neigh.

An excellent balance of adventure, intrigue, seduction and romance albeit between a man and his horse.
