A terrifying and believable space adventure. Never a dull moment. Sandra Bullock's performance is one which will surely grant her an Oscar nomination. This film really makes the viewer appreciate gravity.

This movie is extremely BORING

Gravity - easily the worse movie I've seen this year. No amount of CG could save this movie. The physics are way off. The events are highly improbable at best. When's the last time you herd the space station getting hit by debris? Exactly, never! The Circumference of the space station's obit is massive!! Now take that number and calculate the area. You're going to tell me that space debris is going to hit 2 separate targets at different times. Ok...... You have a better chance of getting hit by lighting 5 times. If that wasn't enough there's even more improbable moments and events that I haven't even mentioned lol. How can critics give this rave reviews?? That's the real question?

Gravity isn't a movie, I would say its more an experience. If you go thinking you will see character development or a great story line, forget it. It's more about what space and weightlessness is really like and how unforgiving the environment can be. On that score this "movie" is awesome! The special effects are excellent as well.

I was riveted to the seat. Every second was vital to the plot. What a great movie.

I loved this movie! Suspenseful and stunning in 3D Imax. Sandra Bullock was amazing!

Great movie. Saw it twice in a week. However, if you think you're going to get the unparalleled IMAX viewing experience, courtesy of the giant curved screen, in London's Silvercity, think again. The giant screen is absent and so is the classic IMAX experience. The admission fee for what does get shown is way too high, I believe. So, if you're looking for classic IMAX, save your money and watch the movie in a traditional format for almost half the price.

Finally, we have hard SF done right. See this movie in IMAX, in 3-D. Don't worry about the plot or the script: the story is very direct, which is what it needs to be. What this movie does is re-create the environment accurately, something that I personally have not seen since "2001: A Space Odyssey". This is a film about being there, in the environment, with the people. It needs to be immersive, it needs the IMAX 3-d for full effect. See it there if you can: the smaller the screen you watch it on, the more the point of the movie will be lost (IMNSHO). PS: it took me a few minutes to get my "land legs" back after I exited the theatre. First time that's happened with a movie...

The video and audio effects are excellent! If you love the Universal studio's rides, you will find this movie very entertaining. Defiantly the effects we have not seen before in the movie. It is not even about the plot what makes this movie spectacular, its everything else. And Sandra Bullock pulled it off on her own, thumbs up, did not expect it from her.

Not a bad movie, but the reviews have been way overblown. I would give a 5/10.
