Good acting but too much violence for me.

This was a great movie. I had low expectations due to so many online reviews saying it was bad. I guess people don't have the patience for slower movies anymore. Ryan's character is very intriguing. You don't need tons of dialogue for a movie to be good.

Went in with high expectations...thought it was a typical artsy festival film...not as much action as I had expected from trailer.

good movie to take a nap during

This movie is excellent, however it is extremely violent. I'm not sure it was necessary to be quite that graphic. However, the plot was great and Ryan Gosling's character was really interesting. I definitely would recommend this film.

disappointing - it was marketed as a fast action/adventure, but it is really a slow, no-personality noir film. Ryan's muscles look great and Albert Brooks is awesome, but that's it.

Beautifully shot movie and with great dialogue and a perfect music soundtrack. Ryan and Carey had a nice chemistry and the amount to overall violence was good and not over the top.

Such a boring movie. Ryan Goslings worst movie.

One of the best movies of the year. It is suspenseful and dramatic but also shockingly graphic. The soundtrack was also amazing! Bryan Cranston and Ryan Gosling make the perfect team.

Loved this. While I'm usually a fan of Ryan Gosling, I loved his quiet unassuming character. You don't actually realize what a ruthless guy he can be till near the end. Great story.
