This movie ruined my life especially because Ludacris was part of the cast. If you want your night to be ruined and be totally depressed then watch this movie.

A brutally sad film, this is the best film I`ve seen this year, so far. Virtually every character is flawed yet sympathetic.

I felt this is one of the best movies I have ever seen. So much truth was presented in this movie that a lot of Americans try to avoid in day to day life. I felt Terrence Howard was phenomenal! This movie is with out a doubt Oscar worthy. This is definitely a must see.

This is one of the most brutally truthful films I have ever seen about race in the United States. Yet underneath the mistrust we have for each other, the film exposes our humanity and our connectedness to each other. Every man, woman, and child in this country should see this film. It`s brilliant. And very moving.

A truly powerful film. One which gives a glimpse into the complications of diverse lives. There is no "one truth" "one experience". The very nature of humans makes us fluid and complex and unable to read. This is a film I will add to my at home library and watch again and again for its complexities, challenges and superb acting & directing skills. It has impacted my psyche in ways yet to be seen.

The Best Movie -of 2005, or any year- BY FAR! I can`t think of the last movie I saw, where I came out of the theater and was in awe of what I had just seen. This movie deserves many Oscar nominations, including Picture, Director, Supp Actor (Don Cheadle,Michael Pena, Matt Dillon), Supp Actress (Sandra Bullock, Thandie Newton). The acting was superd (all except Brendan Fraser). It`s a gripping movie that makes you get involved with the characters on screen, very provocative and lays on the table what most think but are afraid to say in a society so brainwashed by what`s right and what`s wrong..this movie made me think, and not in the sense of
