Excellent

Entertaning, but not that much for all the fuss! There are many errors in that movie in regards to the storyline, and ... I don`t know... We could notice the play behind the machism, it was not "natural", as if this movie was TRYING to be a "postiche" of a hollywoodian movie.

As a "tete caree" married to a francophone wife, we thorougly enjoyed the film. If you`re into hockey, so much the better. One of the funniest parts was a lesson on how to conjugate "tabernac" as a noun, verb. adjective and pronoun. And Aunt Iris! Wooo! Vive le Quebec Libre (see the film, you`ll get it..)

I was in Ottawa on business and saw it at the World Exchange centre accross the street from the Sheraton Ottawa on Albert. This film is excellent from several vantage points...language was harsh but extremely funny...anglophones should get off their keester and go see it..it is funnier then any of the lethel weapon and buddy cop movies made in the states, and is a must have on DVD for parties..probably one of the best black comedies ...`film noire` made in canada..and it should have been rated at cannes... this movie makes the trailer park boys look wholesome by comparison. I hope there is a sequel....we have such good subject matter up

Bravo! What a great idea to mix the two provinces. I was born in Quebec, now living in Toronto but still very "quebecoise". It was so good to see the mix of the two official languages. The movie made me laugh and cry. Very Well Done! Great actors!!! Continue the good work. Danielle

Fabulous movie, hilarious playing with language, with stereotypes, with Canadian and Quebec culture. I could see this movie ten times.
