I had such high expectations for this movie, and they just ruined it. The story within a story does not work, and although Nicole Kidman is charming, she is no Elizabeth Montgomery. Will Ferrell was miscast, Shirley McLaine was underused and Michael Caine should have known better. Buy the new DVD release of the original series...this movie is deplorable!

As I fully admit that there were some funny scenes in this movie, overall I believe that it was a complete waste of my time and money. This is a definate renter. I almost fell asleep it was so boring. They failed at keeping your attention on the movie from beginning to end...from beginning to middle even.
