This movie was so good. It had action, romance, suspense, and mystery. I laughed and I cried. I didn't think I would like it, but I was so glad I went!!

Bad. Hugh, you're okay but Nicole should take a break. Nicole. Remember the "Others", yeah we were we all dead in the theatre!

Most beautiful movie I have ever seen.

Don't believe the marketing or the people who get paid to write good things about this stinker. You will hate yourself for spending the price of admission.

Another great "mash up" of themes, genres and cultures from Lurhman. Set in the 30's and 40's and evoking the romance and cinemascope western classics of those days, it is somewhat prdictable, but didn't Grant always get Hepburn in the end? (or the other way around)

"Out of Africa" meets Australia. Both films have many common threads, including beautiful images, similar characters and storylines (sophisticated and independent woman goes to untamed male-dominated land, meets incredibly gorgeous, rugged free-spirit and champions the cause of indiginous people treated poorly by the local powerbrokers). "Out of Africa" is more biographical with richer characters while "Australia" is mystical, a little sappy and definitely a guilty pleasure.

Not great, but good enough for me.A decent effort to revitalize the 'golden era' of film making. I enjoyed the cinematography, set decorations, and costumes. The story and plot was predictable. The supporting actors were the surprise hits of this film for me. The band that performs the song in the first half of the new trailer is called 'Explosions in the Sky:The Only Moment We Were Alone' Go see this on the big screen.

I hope the actors didn's actually get paid to do this movie.

An "Epic" film that only suffers from Nicole Kidman's performance. She is starting to show her age and her face appears to be frozen. Many emotional scenes and I was "wet" eyed a few times. They certainly don't make films like this anymore.Think "Gone With the Wind",although not nearly as good.
