At first, the interior seens are lit pretty badly like a tv movie of week, and the background music was repetitive and boring, until the last sequence of the film. Mehta as "omi" gives the best performance in the film, with his cousin being the weakest. Codrington`s performance as Roland is quite good. The themes of the story are quite interesting and touching especially the ending, but they could have benefitted from better writing, especially Setya`s dialogue`s on her identity and when she confronted the racist neighbour. Overall, I enjoyed it and would recommend it.
A gem of a film - simple, moving and heartwarming!
This is really a wonderful film! Heartwarming and sweet. One of those rare films which has a little of something for everyone. A must see!
