In the official trailer for the movie The Mayor, we meet Byeon (Min-sik Choi), a politician who will go to great lengths to remain in power. The trailer opens up with Byeon claiming that politics is “show business.” Next we see a rally in the middle of the street and people claiming he is a dirty politician. At one point eggs are being thrown at his car as he drives by. In the trailer we are also introduced to Shim (Do-Won Kwak) and Park (Eun-Kyung Shim), who are also working on the campaign. In one of the scenes in the trailer Park tells Shim, "We can’t fabricate rumors."
