Sharon Steves (Hilary Swank) is looking for a purpose in life when she meets Ed Schmitt (Alan Ritchson), a widower whose youngest daughter is waiting for a liver transplant. Giving her all to help care for the family and raise money for the surgery, the call comes that Ed must get his daughter across the country for her one chance at surgery, but a horrible blizzard brings the town together to help get them to the children’s hospital.
