In 1723 Romania, the evil Vampire Lord Kagan (Ben Kingsley) rules the land and will become utterly invincible if he finds and unites three talismans.

A small group of vampire hunters called The Brimstone Society are dedicated to avenging the weak and ending Kagan's reign of terror. They must race to find and recruit a young half-human, half-vampire woman named Rayne (Kristanna Loken), who, as legend has it, may hold the key to defeating Kagan.
