Life as we know it has collapsed, and an evil has taken over. The ones who survived face it when the sun sets. Paul (Nicolas Cage) and his sons, Thomas (Maxwell Jenkins) and Joseph (Jaeden Martell), have created a safe haven for themselves until one day, Thomas doesn't return before dark. Paul must leave safety behind to find his son and face the danger head on to survive with both his children alive.
