    The film is about how a young naive kid(charlie sheen)deals with his tour in vietnam.He lands himself in a a squad by two sergeants,one ''good'',one ''bad''.Stone WANTS to be serious,but every character is a cliche.The acting from everyone involved is laughably bad,and the constantly bad dialouge makes it worse.The plot is as simple as it gets,we have to wait almost 2 hours for the most predictible ending in war film history.The ridiculous scenes are endless,(dafoe)charging the enemy as if he's han solo in star wars,there its funny,here were supposed to take it seriously.(sheen)with one clip of ammo,becomes indestructible due to some screaming.He then manages to survive running into a handfu
