This rating is based primarily upon Thomas Dekker's talent & charisma extraordinâire … This often underrated young man's diverse range of acting roles & character shifts too are Extraordinâire !! mais absolument !! Subtle but absolutely extraordinary in depth. This vehicle seems to have given him a breakout role: a dichotic means to start leaving teen-acting behind while emerged in a teenaged character. This Sundance Film Festival favourite is whimsically delightful in its simplicity; overlook the obvious and enjoy the hedonistic comedy: the strange yet stereotypical sensual depth rampant tongue-in-cheek throughout"

gregg araki's best cult flick ever! If I were to describe this movie to a friend, they would think it was cheese in the Roquefort class, but araki makes it work, along with some decent acting, candy coloured sets and camera gels and an ontological café for all the kids can wax poetic .. how can you loose?
