My only frustration with this movie is that it seemed like one big set up for part 2 - new character introduction, background and then left everything up in the air.

i did not find the movie as exciting as the previous movies. it was dull,and i am not sure i am not looking forward to the second part.

Finally a HP movie that took the time to explore the characters. The previous movies had to pack in so much plot and action that people were just moved from one situation to the next. Generally a waste of so much acting talent. This one still had wonderful action scenes, and a great ending.

By far the darkest of the Harry Potter films. The effects are brilliant, and the adaptation from the novel is top notch. The film brings not only the characters but the environments and surroundings to life. Considerably more than a children's movie. A taut, and suspenseful film, which brings the intensity portrayed in the novel to life of the big screen. Gripping visual effects combined with stellar character portrayal, this film is truly one for the entire family. The sense of emotion displayed in this film runs the gamut, joy, grief, with an underlying tone of foreboding that remains a constant throughout the film makes this installment of the Potter saga must see for both fans and n
