Julianne Hough is such an awesome dancer. I enjoyed this version just as much as the original.

While nowhere near as good as the original, this movie offered some great dancing and a good soundtrack. If you have never seen the original it is an entertaining watch.

Great soundtrack, would love to listen to it outside of the movie. Attempt to make a modern movie of an older where the plot was no longer relevant in the movie. It was quite awkward indeed. The dancing was quite creative and lively. Dancers were experienced, but failed to enrapture the true Footloose. The dancing incorporated the intense conflict between the society's overprotective older generation and the liberating rebellious spirit of the younger generation. However, it was refreshing to see that the younger generation took initiative to bring about change while still respecting the communities morals. The dynamic dancing had respectable gymnastic and athletic appeal.

a great and fun movie! making viewers want to get up and dance and be footloose! although the sexual connotations are a little mature for pg subject matter. All in all it was a fantastic movie, and really showed how far people would go to make a point or just for the fun of being footloose

I viewed the original Footloose when it came out and just before this remake... Technology made it better and Julianne Hough was the biggest hit of the movie. The camera loves her. Her acting and dancing skills are next to none...
