I really relate to the character William. Offensive enough to keep people from getting too close...close enough to hurt him. Yet still needing that little something of companionship. And then a beautiful girl sneaks in under his defences. Effy is amazing. Frederikke plays her flawlessly. I can see myself acting as William does in her presence. The goofiness. The jealousy. Falling for her. And it makes me sad that they cannot be together. Not that I advocate relationships with underagers or anything. lol Just that it seems he found a soul mate that is out of reach.

Film just grabs you. Great characters, perfect subtle moments, beautiful backdrop, superb direction. Very excited for the future of Canadian film with Mark Raso's now in the mix. Look forward to future projects with this Director.
