Jessica Lucas Biography


Date of Birth: September 24, 1985

Jessica Lucas started her acting career at the tender age of seven with professional training at Children’s Theatre Arts from 1992 to 1994 in Vancouver, British Columbia. After being cast in local theater productions, Lucas made her television debut with a small role on a 2000 episode of UPN’s sci-fi series Seven Days.

From there, her acting career flourished with starring roles in popular TV series such as 2030 CE, Life as We Know It and Edgemont.

Jessica’s transition into the world of film occurred in 2006 with commendable performances in She’s the Man, The Covenant, Split Decision and her big hit, Cloverfield. However, her presence on the small screen continued with recurring roles on CSI, 90210, Melrose Place, Friends with Benefits and Cult.

Her musical passion and talent has also been apparent as the singer for both “Ain’t Nobody” and “Baby You Know” in the comedy movie Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son, which she also starred in.

Jessica has since appeared in Evil Dead,That Awkward Moment (2014) and Pompeii (2014).
