Dylan Walsh has acted in several features, including We Were Soldiers (2002) starring Mel Gibson and The Lake House starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock.

On television Dylan was a recurring guest on both Kate and Allie and a series regular on Gabriel's Fire but is probably best recognized as Officer Jimmy Doyle in Stephen Bochco's Brooklyn South, or as Sean McNamara in Nip/Tuck. He most recently starred in Authors Anonymous (2014).

Born in Los Angeles, California, Walsh was divorced in July 2003 from first wife, actress Melora Walters, with whom he has two children. In November 2003 actress Joanna Going gave birth to his daughter, Stella. Walsh married Going in October 2004.
