The Town Is Quiet

Michele is a working-class mother who spends her days working at a fish market. Her daughter Fiona, is also a mother and is addicted to heroin. The two live together with the baby and what friends they have are unable to turn away from the tragedy of this family. As the two go through their day to day lives, they meet a number of characters including a lonely taxi driver, a bartender with dark secrets and a musician who constantly cheats on her husband.
