When President Abraham Lincoln (Hamish Linklater) is shot at Ford's Theatre in Washington D.C. by actor John Wilkes Booth (Anthony Boyle), Lincoln's secretary of war and friend, Edwin Stanton (Tobias Menzies), begins the manhunt to track down Lincoln's assassin.
It's discovered that Lincoln wasn't the only target and that Booth had a number of co-conspirators involved, all of whom need to be rounded up as Booth goes on the run.
