L'ange gardien

While apprehending a burglar, Normand, a retired policeman turned night watchman, suffers a heart attack. Nathalie, the thief, intervenes and helps the sexagenarian before taking off. A few days later, Nathalie returns to the building and begs Normand to let her stay there for the night. Grudgingly, Normand lets her stay in a small room, so she can have a warm place to sleep. The next night, she returns, and he gives her a place to sleep again. Normand becomes moved by the young woman and her story.
