Journey from the Fall

Thirteen years after the end of the Vietnam War, a family struggles to survive after the Fall of Saigon in 1975. With her husband Long, imprisoned in a North Vietnamese camp, Mai, her son and her mother-in-law escape Vietnam in a boat, hoping to find a new life in California.

When Long discovers his family has escaped, it gives him new hope and despite the brutality he endures, he makes it his goal to travel to America to find them.
