In the trailer for Top Gun: Maverick, Tom Cruise is back as the legendary pilot. Although his superior (Ed Harris) derides him for not aiming higher than his status as a captain, despite all of his feats, citations and medals, Maverick doesn't care. He enjoys doing what he does, and we see him flying planes and driving motorcycles — fast. Undoubtedly with Tom Cruise actually at the wheel of these incredible stunts.
