The Song of Names

In this trailer for The Song of Names we meet the Jewish Polish boy Dovidl, a young genius on the violin, who is left with his new musical teacher in England. Dovidl befriends Martin, whom he takes under his wing as a musical companion, and a friendship sprouts. As the war reaches the skies of Britain, Dovidl and Martin take shelter from the bombing raids as Dovidl comforts the surrounding citizens with his music. Knowing that his own family went through much of the same back in Warsaw, Dovidl is greatly affected by the deaths that surround him. However, right before Dovidl's first international concert, he mysteriously disappears. Martin (Tim Roth) begins a lifelong journey to discover the mystery behind his friend's disappearance.
