The Porter

Inspired by true events and set in 1920's Montreal, Zeke Garrett (Ronnie Rowe) is a Black porter with very little job security. He is tired of gaining money illegally and wants to form a union so that all Black porters working on railways can have a better life. This seems simple enough, but Zeke faces large amounts of pushback from his friends, colleagues, and the railway owners.
