In the restricted trailer for The Little Hours, we open on a peaceful scene of nuns and townsfolk going about their business. The tone suddenly switches to one of profanity and aggression as we see these nuns (Alison Brie, Kate Micucci, Aubrey Plaza) are not exactly what their church had hoped. Being called out for unruly behavior like filthy conversation and lustfulness to name a few, the nuns are troublesome to say the least. But we see it’s not just these three Sisters that get into trouble, as local farm boy Massetto (James Franco) also manages to get himself into various sinful predicaments.
The Little Hours opens in select theatres June 30, 2017.
