The official trailer for Dunkirk begins as soldiers walk through a street and leaflets are dropped from German planes, urging them to surrender. Shortly after, the trailer cuts to 400,000 soldiers on a beach being bombarded by enemy aircrafts.
The trailer intensifies as the soldiers try to escape by way of ship, but are relentlessly hunted by German troops. They attempt to make their way to Dunkirk as lives are continually lost and blood is steadily spilled. Characters played by Cillian Murphy, Tom Hardy and Harry Styles are featured and the man played by Kenneth Branagh ends the trailer by saying, "You can practically see it from here. Home."
