The second trailer for Downsizing opens with a man (Matt Damon) working at his dissatisfying job. He then sees a friend of his made the decision to “downsize.” The man and his wife choose to look into downsizing themselves, which results in less of a strain on their bank account and allows them to live in luxury in Leisureland. But things don’t go exactly as planned after his wife (Kristen Wiig) bails on him and doesn’t shrink herself. The experience proves to be a good one for her husband who finds it helps him serve a bigger purpose.
