Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) struggles to adjust to life as the host of his alien alter ego, Venom. To get a career boost, he interviews serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson) in prison, but while there, he's bitten by Kasady, which leads to Cletus surviving a lethal injection in prison. Cletus then turns into the evil force, Carnage.
