Movie has a very different feel from most others in this genre. Loved it.

The CGI in this movie is incredible but the acting was not.

Beautiful but dumb storyline and weirdly corny acting.

Not as bad as the reviews claim. Just go on the ride - it is beautiful to look at and something isn't blowing up every few minutes, which passes as plot nowadays. The story is actually pretty easy to follow, despite the reviews. The sheer imagination at play is worth the experience. Good for families and older kids, as well.

One of your critics said he watched it for 20 mins & thought it sucked. He must be a glutton for torture. I watched it for 10 mins. & that was excruciating. Terribly childish even for children. Stephen Wong

This is an amazingly well thought out movie as practically every scene has a twist that keeps the viewer engaged. One of best Science Fiction movies since the release of Riddick in 2013. A Must See!!!

Now I understand why Besson and Cameron don't like each other. Besson is a serious and mature creator who delivers stories for kids while Cameron is a technical geek bent on superb special effects and extreme technical accuracy who creates stories that try to be mature but feel a lot like they were written by a kid. Valerian is inspired by cartoons and feels much like an extension of the 5th element. It is no more and no less than what it claims to be. It doesn't pretend to be more than an entertaining adventure. It looks very nice too.

The movie was a visual treat. The two young leads gave a solid, captivating performance. The trailer didn't give folks much of an idea what the movie about but this movie was terrific!! It was visually stunning and was exciting from front to end. If you haven't seen this yet, get out and check it out. You will not be disappointed!!!

soooo visually stunning, this will be a bigger cult classic than any of Besson films to date
