This movie was fantastic. The acting was superb. I had of course heard of Secretariat before, but did not know the whole story. It kept your attention the whole way through the movie.

it's very good family movie.

I thought that, as in Seabiscuit, the horse would be the main character. However, not in this predictable and cliche version of what it takes to be a four-legged winner. Diane Lane seems imprisoned in her 70's hairdo as the script is imprisoned in this Disney-fied version of Secretariat's life and times.

SECRETARIAT WAS AN ENJOYABLE MOVIE.IT WAS A LITTLE SLOW & A LITTLE LONG.I AM SURE THAT PENNY ENCOUNTERED A LOT MORE OPPOSITION THAN PORTRAYED IN THE MOVIE.IT WAS AN INTERESTING STORY BECAUSE IT WAS BASED ON TRUE LIFE INCIDENT.IT WAS GOOD OF DISNEY TO GIVE THE REAL PENNY CHENERY A CAMEO IN THE MOVIE.

Once again Disney has delivered again! The movie is entertaining the whole way throughout. The cast was chosen correctly and all fit the roles well. This is a 2 thumbs up true story and heart warmer!

A highly successful, feel-good film that will introduce audiences to one of the world's greatest athletes of all times - who just happens to be a horse. But it is just as much the story of Penny Chenery, Secretariat's owner, carving out new ground during the early days of women's lib, in the old boy's club of Southern USA's horse breeding, and Diane Lane conveys that steely will wonderfully. Definitely worth a trip to the theatre - despite a little Disney-fying. The race scenes alone are spectacular.
