Love it
There were so many scenes that took my breath away....how long did it take to do that, how many illustrators for that shot or graphic designers for that sequence etc.? The imagery is spectacular, it made me think of anime meets the Matrix, meets Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon! Loved it and have seen it twice already! Found out it took 5 years and over 4 thousand artist, graphic designers and illustrators. A must see if you love anime!
From a professional perspective, this film surpasses Disney’s works in terms of technical sophistication. Culturally, it embodies a nation’s historical and philosophical outlook. Politically, it carries profound implications, subtly reflecting themes of hegemonic power, racial discrimination, and social hierarchy. Artistically, it is a true masterpiece—its composition, intricate details, and design remain unmatched by any other animated film. Only the ignorant would fail to grasp its deeper meaning. This is a timeless classic, highly recommended.
Dumb
The best movie so far for me. I already watched twice.
I don't know what people see in this movie. Too long and I fell asleep. The theater worker woke me up after the movie ended. Besides for the good nap, this movie was a waste of time.
My 80 years old mom , me and my 15 years old daughter watched this movie. We all love it. the best animated movie I've ever seen. Its a visually arresting and intellectually ambitious animated saga that reinterprets ancient myth with a modern edge.
The best animated movie I’ve ever seen! A two-and-a-half-hour film filled with emotions and action. Both of my 8-year-old boys shed tears during the movie, moved by the love it portrayed. It’s a five-star film in every way—the action, the scenes, the values… Absolutely loved it!
My kids said nezha2 is better than frozen and avatar! They are willing to watch again with 3D!
