The major problem with King Arthur is the sloppy editing. The fight scenes, I`m sure, were filmed properly yet the finished product looks liek a hybrid of Disney and TBS. I`d also say Guinevere and Lancelot both had poor character development, and Guinevere`s fight scenes were a real joke. The acting, score, story, and look of the film are great, but a war movie minus the war isn`t much of a movie. I can only hope for an R rated Director`s Cut on DVD.

I thought it was pretty good. the battle scenes were really well done, but i think they could have made a more interesting storyline and made the love triangle between lancelot, guenevere and king arthur more pronounced. i also think we should have found ou tmore about guenevere, but all in all it was a good movie.

This is an outstanding movie. On all levels-visual,script, music and story line- this is a work of love with art.

This movie is just another reason as to why Jerry Bruckheimer`s script doctors need to be muzzled. They completely removed the Arthurian dilemma; laws and nobility versus love. Insanely accurate time-piece with the exception of the constant references to Americanized visions of freedom.

Finally a more realistic Arthur than Excalibur for the time period. Battle scenes are good.

I am not a satisfied customer. The major problem I have with the film is the HORRIBLE re-editing of the film, from R to PG. The film was made brilliantly by Antione Fuqa as a brutal Dark Ages war movie, what we have now is a nutered fell-good summer film. This REALLY pisses me off. What`s happened is the studio big-wigs decided they could make more money by editing it down to a PG level. I mean, it`s following up Spiderman 2, so of course they`ve gotta grab the kids. What this does is ruin EVERY combat/death scene in the film. We see a sword, we see someone fall, there`s nothing in between. Usually, you don`t see who`s dying till the sc
