I really enjoyed this movie. It had everything that I wanted. My previous pose was pretty bad and I'm sorry, but go see the movie.
This movie was better than advertised. It stated off slow but it picked very fast. Thr only sad part is when one of the main characters dies. I wish taht there was a better way to finish this movie.
A fine way to kill some time, but not that great
This is not a triple A movie, but it doesn't have the BS that the big studios are putting into big movies now. Elevation has a relatively simple plot, not a lot of CGI, and pretty solid acting. The story is set in Colorado, but I'm not sure it was shot in Colorado. Either way the scenery is worth the price of admission. It relied on standard tropes for some plot devices (which I think they could have easily avoided), and at least one WTF moment, but it didn't detract from the movie for more than a few seconds. From the quality of the cast, I would have thought they'd spend more resources on the story. By the end of the movie, I was invested in the outcome, which is a lot more than I can say about a few more expensive movies. TL:DR I liked it enough that I'll see it in the theater again.
