While working as a hostess in a trendy restaurant, Fraser was discovered and signed up to be
part of the International Ford model agency. Since then she has worked with Mabelline cosmetics,
Gap, Alfani and Tommy Hilfinger. Designer Karl Lagerfeld has used her numerous times since
casting her in his 1997 signature show, and she has appeared in editorial spreads of magazines
such as Vogue, Glamour and Cosmopolitan.
In 1999, Fraser became the international spokeswoman for the Lupus foundation of America.
For the start of the new millennium, Fraser started to diversify her resume by including
acting, with a supporting role in the romantic comedy, Head over Heels.
