Date of Birth: January 20, 1987

Pete Ploszek was born in Hinsdale, Illinos. He and his family lived in New Jersey, Maine and Ohio before finally settling in St. Charles, Illinois. He graduated in 2005 from St. Charles East High School and subsequently attended Princeton University. There, he was a four-year member of the Princeton Tigers football team and president of the University Cottage Club. While at Princeton, he took his first acting class in the spring of his sophomore year and landed roles in two plays (Miss Julie, Angels in America). After graduating Princeton in 2009, he earned his MFA from the USC School of Theatre in 2012.

The young actor landed his first role in in the 2012 short film Outage: WME, followed by guest roles on the comedy series Parks and Recreation in 2012 and the Showtime dramedy Shameless in 2013.

Shortly afterwards, Pete got his big break when he was cast as Leonardo in the modern reboot Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014). The rising star reprised his role as Leonardo in the 2016 sequel Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, and also stars as Mr. Garrett Douglas on the hit CW TV series Teen Wolf. He plays his first solo lead role in the 2016 romantic comedy The Wedding Party.

Pete lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Daniela, whom he met at Princeton.
