MAX THIERIOT
Date of Birth: October 14, 1988
Max Thieriot was born in Los Altos Hills, California to Cameron Thieriot and Bridget Snyder; he has a sister, Frances, and a brother, Aidan. His paternal grandfather was Charles de Young Thieriot, the owner and publisher of the San Francisco Chronicle, and a descendant of the de Young brothers, founders of the Chronicle.
Thieriot was signed to an agent after being noticed in an improvisation class. He modeled for GAP and appeared in two short films before being cast in his first feature film role, in 2004's Catch That Kid, a comedic thriller aimed at teenage audiences. He was subsequently cast in 2005's The Pacifier, playing one of the family members protected by a Navy Seal played by Vin Diesel. Thieriot performed all of his own singing for the film.
His third film, the drama The Astronaut Farmer (2007) found him playing the son of Billy Bob Thornton's character, and in Nancy Drew (2007) he starred opposite Emma Roberts. He also played a younger version of Hayden Christensen's lead character in Jumper (2008) and has since starred in several other films, the most recent ones being Foreverland (2012) and House at the End of the Street (2012).
Thieriot lives in Occidental, California. He enjoys basketball, hunting, surfing, fishing, and wrestling.
