Madelyn Cline

Madelyn Cline is an American actress and model hailing from Goose Creek, South Carolina. Growing up, she would spend summers in New York City getting exposure to the entertainment industry through appearing in commercials for prominent brands. She started modeling at age 10.

Madelyn enrolled at the Coastal Carolina University before dropping out in 2017 to pursue acting. She moved to Los Angeles against her parents' wishes, but after earning significant roles, they came around to support her choice.

In the early days of her acting career, Madelyn appeared in the drama film Boy Erased (2018) with Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe. She also appeared in three episodes of the HBO television series Vice Principals (2016-2017) before earning small recurring roles on the CW series The Originals (2017) and the hit Netflix show Stranger Things (2017). Madelyn's performance as Tina in the latter paved the way for a starring role on the Netflix teen drama Outer Banks (2020-2021). Playing Sarah Cameron, Madelyn rose to fame when the show was an immediate hit in 2020.

Madelyn has a number of upcoming projects, including a role in the sequel to Knives Out (2019). The film is set for a 2022 release and it has a stacked cast that features Daniel Craig, Kathryn Hahn, Dave Bautista, and more.

In 2020, it was confirmed that Madelyn was dating her Outer Banks co-star Chase Stokes. The pair appeared together on the second season of the show, which was released in summer 2021.
