Date of Birth: September 13, 1996
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Lili Reinhart first gained prominence when she landed the role of Betty Cooper on the CW/Netflix Original Series Riverdale.
At a young age, Lili embraced her passion for the performing arts, taking dance lessons for a period of 10 years and appearing onstage in several local musicals. At age 11, she signed with a professional agency.
Once a month for more than a year, she made the trip from Ohio to New York for auditions. At the age of 15, after playing roles in two short films and making guest appearances on two TV series, including Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2011, she made her big screen debut in the title role of the horror film Lilith (2011).
She has filled her resumé with more roles in feature films over the next few years, including the comedy drama The Kings of Summer (2013), which screened at the Cannes Film Festival, and the horror drama The Good Neighbor (2016).
But it's for her TV series Riverdale that she's best known. Like her colleagues K.J. Apa and Camila Mendes in the roles of Archie Andrews and Veronica Lodge, she had to work hard to be cast because she was an unknown when she auditioned. However, once hired, she proved her mettle, winning no less than seven Teen Choice Awards between 2017 and 2019 for her work on the show.
During hiatus from the set of Riverdale, she co-starred alongside Jennifer Lopez, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, Constance Wu, and Cardi B for Hustlers (2019), a crime story about how nude strippers swindle rich businessmen.
In an interview, Lili confessed to anxiety and depression, adding that she was seeing a therapist to alleviate the problem. She and her Riverdale co-star, Cole Sprouse who plays Jughead Jones, are dating.
