Date of Birth: September 13, 1987

Canadian actor Levi Meaden was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He began acting at age 12 in local theater productions and eventually moved to the Czech Republic after he finished high school. There, he studied writing and directing at the Prague Center for Film Education, where he credits one of his teachers for reintroducing him to acting and reigniting his passion for the medium.

After graduation, he moved to Vancouver, Canada, where he landed roles on several American TV shows, including The Killing, Almost Human, and a recurring part on the first season of The 100.

Levi’s big screen debut was in the crime-drama short film, Brotherly Love (2009). Three years later, he appeared in the video 1313: Bigfoot Island (2012), part of writer-director David DeCoteau’s horror-thriller video series. He also played the lead in the indie film Alice in the Attic (2017).

Some of his biggest roles to date include playing a soldier in War for the Planet of the Apes (2017), Jaeger pilot Iyla in Pacific Rim Uprising (2018) and the role of Sam in the thriller Breaking In (2018).

Next, Levi is set to return to the small screen with the CBC TV mini-series Unspeakable, filmed in Vancouver.
