Born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, Kyle Gallner had heart surgery at the age of four. He began performing due to his older sister's influence, after tagging along on her auditions. He quickly began landing guest starring roles on popular shows such as Law & Order: SVU, The Closer, Medium, Bones, Cold Case, Judging Amy and The Shield. In 2005, he became a series regular on the hit CW series Veronica Mars.
Gallner's many independent films include the lead in Red alongside Brian Cox; Gardens Of The Night with John Malkovich; and Danika with Marisa Tomei.
In 2009, he appeared with Megan Fox in Jennifer's Body. Other major releases include The Haunting in Connecticut, alongside Virginia Madsen; Red Eye, with Rachel McAdams; and A Nightmare on Elm Street with Jackie Earle Haley.
